VisualCounter.Ir2:Architecture of the Solution

Communications with the server are over the wireless GPRS network, therefore no data wiring is required in the shops, nor is a pre-installation visit necessary. The only thing that is needed is a power connection in the access zone.

The data is not stored at the "Point of Sale", but sent over the GPRS network to a central server where it can be consulted. This facilitates centralised management of independently-functioning stores that are geographically far apart.

The daily volume of data for each store over the GPRS network is very small (less than 50kb), which means that low-cost communications with any telephone network provider are possible.
