VisualCounter.Ir2:Store window traffic management

Single-directional people counting system using laser sensors. This device has a laser beam (non-harmful to the human eye) which makes it possible to create a controlled area of up to 5 metres at checkpoints in front of store windows or advertising systems.

The information from the sensors is processed using an artificial intelligence system. This performs a single-directional people count and has far superior features to current infrared or cell barrier systems. The device should be fitted at approximately waist height, in the store window or advertising system, facing the area to be analysed. It is completely unnoticeable in the business environment.

The device is wired to the VisualCounter.Ir2 GPRS people counting equipment located at the access door to the business area.

The data corresponding to the number of people that pass in front of the store window advertisement are sent over a wired connection to the VisualCounter.Ir2 GPRS people counter, where it is stored and sent at set intervals to the central server over the wireless GPRS network.
